Maui Oma Coffee Roasting Company
Maui Oma's employees have worked in all levels of coffee roasting, wholesaling, custom blending and retailing. We are small batch roasters that pay particular attention to the freshness of our coffee.
Being founding members of the Hawaii Coffee Association and presently serving on its board of firectors, David Gridley is sUpportive of the development of fine coffees throughout Hawaii.
The development of the coffee's flavor is the roaster's craft. At Maui Oma, we carefully develop the coffee oils to pyrolysis ( the chemical change that brings our the coffee's flavor.) We do roast of varying degrees to best enhance the particular coffee we are roasting.
