Lisa has always been driven to create a taste experience that matches the customer's personality and consumer base. As Director of Business Development at Beck Flavors, she continues to achieve in maintaining customer relationships and adapting to ever changing trends in the coffee industry. She holds the respect of her industry colleagues and is described as a person who treats her customers as family and does her absolute best to give them the quality flavors and service they deserve.

Our predecessor firm (the Berkeley Yeast Laboratory) was literally founded in the weeks prior to the end of Prohibition in 1933. The mission of the new company was to help customers produce better products for THEIR customers. Value added was a core principal then. It remains a core value eight decades later.
Our first products were lab services and yeast. In the years that followed the needs of our industry customers led us first to cellar supplies, then to packaging and finally into processing and bottling equipment. It has been an 80 year evolution driven by the concept of adding value.
